Le Festival du Louxor pour le film African (LAFF) est l'un des projets de l 'ISF. c'était l'idée de l'auteur Sayed Fouad et réalisatrice Azza Elhosseiny, comme les films africains ne sont pratiquement pas projetés en Egypte. En outre, Louxor a guère de manifestations culturelles ou artistiques, et a donc été choisi pour décentraliser les événements culturelles ou artistiques toujours oraginzed au Caire et en Alexandrie.
