Film scholar and scriptwriter. He teaches sociology (media and cinema) at ESAC (University of Carthage). Has worked as a cultural editor for several Tunisian newspapers and magazines. He was part of the Sud Ecriture team. As a scriptwriter, he collaborated with Ridha Behi, Moufida Tlatli, Nawfel Saheb Etabaa and Mohamed Damak. He has been a script consultant on the two collections "Ten Short, Ten Eyes" (2006 and 2008). General Delegate of the JCC 2010. He is currently festival programmer for Carthage Film Festival
