Between 1981 and 1985, he realized six narrative films screened in Cinematheques of Algeria and Brussels in addition to FESPACO. In 2012, Benamra's film PIECES OF LIVES; PIECES OF DREAMS was selected at 17 film festivals across three continents. This year, REVERIES OF SOLITARY ACTOR mad the Arab press unanimous and among the only 3 films marked 5 stars in Mohammed Rouda's "BOOK OF CINEMA 9#"
