She started as a child actress in TV programs and serials until she got the attention for her performance in The Magician (2001). This was followed by diverse roles in Indian Film and Call Mama (2003), I Love Cinema, You Are My Life (2005), Bebo and Beshir (2011) and After the Battle (2012). Among her numerous awards, Best Actress from the National Film Festival for About Love and Passion, Best Actress from the Catholic Center Festival in 2006 for Downtown Girls, and Best Actress in DIFF 2015 for Nawara.
