Synopsis: For decades, Mali was considered to be the cradle of the Blues. However, this music is currently being prohibited by radical Islamists who went to destroy musical instruments and to threaten the Malian musicians across their own country. This documentary focuses on the struggle of singer Fatoumata Diawara and many others who still tends to continue their musical creativity.
