An Egyptian director who was born in 1953, he graduated from the Institute of Cinema in 1976. Abdel-Aziz began as an assistant director to his brother Mohammed Abdel-Aziz in films Children’s World (1976), Some People Divorce Twice (1978). His debut came in 1982 with A Very Special Invitation. Since 2002, he helmed TV series like Between Two Shores until returned to cinema with Lieutenant Farhan (2005).
