An Egyptian director and producer who got a BA in Social Science in 1986. In 1990 he got his second BA in filmmaking. Later he gained a MA degree in filmmaking from New York University. Sherif is a board member in both the Egyptian Film Chamber of Cinema and the Egyptian National Cinema Center. he worked as an assistant director with several Egyptian directors including Youssef Chahine films “A Dieu Bonaparte", " The Sixth Day” and with Khairy Beshara in his film "The Collar and the Bracelet". Sherif also worked as a TV director. In 2002 he produced and directed his first long feature "El Ragol El Abyad El Motawaset”. In 2003 he produced and directed his second film "Howa Fih Aih". In 2007 he was the pioneer producer for the first independent feature film “ Ein Shams” by Ibrahim batout which son many prizes from several international film festivals l in Rotterdam, Italy, San Francisco and Tunisia. He also produced “Heliopolis” by Ahmad Abdalla in 2009
